highJinx is your local second-hand one-stop shop for wonderful home furnishings and accessories! What makes highJinx extra special is that we also use our business to support the homeless and vulnerable in the Ottawa community. After winning an award from the City of Ottawa, these philanthropic superheroes opened highJinx, Ottawa's cutest little thrift shop, on Somerset Street. highJinx offers a fabulous place for people of all sorts to find awesome vintage couches, quirky lounge chairs, antique sideboards, and darling china, to name a few.

How can you support our work? Well, stop on by and find something lovely for your home! You can also donate your used furniture to us; give us a shout at the shop or via email and let us know what you've got. And the newest way to help out is online! You can use the UsedOttawa.com site to support us a few different ways:

1. Sell your furniture online, and donate the proceeds to highJinx. You can let people know you're supporting us by putting the hashtag "#highjinx" in your ad.

2. If your furniture doesn't sell online, you can donate it to the shop! If you put the hashtag "#highjinx" into your ad somewhere, we'll be able to watch and see if it sells.
